Case Study #3

Muswellbrook Workers Club is one of our medium-sized clubs that make the most of our Social Digital Signage (SDS) technology.

Here, we show how SDS was used to harness the warm and friendly energy of a Facebook post and telegraphed it to the other ‘cold’ mediums – that is, in-house TV displays, Website and Google Search.

This post was published by the club, showcasing a staff member and the range of tap beers that they have available. The all-important #wp tag was included in the caption, which triggers our SDS systems to pick up this post and automatically feed it to the club’s other channels…

TV CHANNELS:

Using AI technology, SDS performs a simple rewrite of the post caption to compose a succinct title to be displayed alongside the photo as a cycling “advertisement” throughout the club, via their in-house TV screens.

WEBSITE:

SDS also places this post onto the Muswellbrook Workers HOME PAGE under the latest news section, where AI tech composes a simple title and body text using the info taken from the original Facebook Post.

Not only this, but the post is also transformed into a dedicated website POST (similar to a Facebook or Blog Post), where more info can be found.

GOOGLE SEARCH:

One of the key advantages of these website posts is a drastic improvement to Google Search Rankings. They provide fresh touch points with Google to increase the likelihood of the club appearing in Google Searches conducted over a variety of topics. Let’s say if someone living in or visiting Muswellbrook was to search something like, “tap beers in muswellbrook”…

We can see that the website post appears near the top of the Google Search result.

In this way, Social Digital Signage has effectively turned one very simple action – the publishing of a Facebook post – into THREE results:

– Injecting warm and social content into the otherwise ‘cold’ medium of in-house TV screens, with automatic deletion after an appropriate amount of time
– Creating fresh content onto the website which may otherwise become stale or stagnant as well as creating a dedicated website post
– Improving Google Search Rankings by touching on a particular topic that may appear in a google search carried out by a local or visitor to the area.

And all of this was completed AUTOMATICALLY in the back-end of our system – there was no effort required on behalf of the Muswellbrook Workers Club staff, and all channels had this great, fresh content fed to them within minutes of the Facebook Post being published.

This example shows how SDS can effortlessly extend the advantages of ‘Social Media’ beyond just Facebook and Instagram, to other channels that are normally a lot less engaging.
